They say life is a series of formulas, but I’ve always believed it’s actually a collection of moments—the kind that shimmer.

For three years, my world was defined by the precision of chemistry. As an Assistant Lecturer, I taught my students about the bonds that hold the world together. But in my heart, I was always drawn to a different kind of alchemy: the way a piece of jewellery can transform a mood, a look, and a memory.

I have always been the girl who lives for the celebration. The one who counts down the days to a wedding or a festival, not just for the event, but for the ritual of "dressing up." To me, jewellery isn't just an accessory; it’s a language of joy.

A Name Rooted in Love

Joie (the French word for Joy) is more than just a brand name—it is a tribute. It honors the two men who shaped my family’s foundation: both my maternal and paternal grandfathers, who both happened to share the name Joy, who left us in recent years.

By naming this venture Joie, I am carrying their legacy forward, weaving their names into every piece we create.

This business was built with more than just the savings from my corporate years; it was built with a lifetime of passion. As the oldest of four daughters, I’ve learned the value of support, sisterhood, and the strength of a close-knit circle. My family and friends have been the wind beneath my wings, and today, I invite you into that circle.
